Rachel S. Bass (she/they) is a jewish, disabled filmmaker based out of Los Angeles.
With a background in new work theater dramaturgy, disaster management, and planetary sciences, Rachel brings their eclectic experiences to their artistic world-building and character development. She makes narratives about finding hope through connection and community, often grappling with loss and evolutions of mundanity.
Rachel has completed the Consent Forward Artist Certificate from Intimacy Directors and Choreographers, Inc. In their free time, Rachel is a regular at trivia nights, reads cookbooks, knits with friends, and grows an arboretum in her living room.
